Team Edward and I am not talking about Twilight ladies

Every girl knows the importance of good makeup, whether we want to admit it or not. We’re all slaves to the mirror in the morning, I know I am. Every few months I have to restock. It was on the most recent trip to Bergdorf, where I went for replenishment that I met Edward. After gathering up my usual Khiel’s deodorant and Prescriptive Custom Blend foundation, I hesitantly asked the sales woman, you never know what another woman will suggest, “Can you recommend a great gloss?" To my surprise she said "May I suggest Edward Bess?”

I walked over to the counter and an attractive young man greeted me with a smile. It was Edward Bess himself. Now what is important about this story is that Edward is a mere 23 years old. An alumnus of the performing arts school responsible for the movie Fame, Edward told me he moved to NYC from the Carolinas. We also reminisced about Carowinds a theme park that borders both North and South Carolina a frequent stomping ground during my days at Pinewood a sleep away camp in NC. I found out all this info because, Edward was very chatty, sweet, approachable and of course complimentary. We bonded over facials since he complimented my skin. I told him I had just visited Mario Badescu, a favorite of his as well ( he recommends Leah).
Now onto the goods! As you can see from the photo above I did quite well with Edward. He suggested a pinky gloss for my pale complexion, "Love Always" that I have come to adore. It emphasizes the natural color of my lips and it really stays put. Meaning on my way out the door, I can take the last sip of coffee, kiss my hubby goodbye, and feel confident that I don’t need to reapply before my meeting. Next, I picked up some "All Over Seduction" in "Sunlight". It’s the type of product applied to cheek bones and eyelids that gives those Victoria Secret Models their perfect glow. How did he know I was already attempting to achieve this look with a combo of eye shadows and blushes? Lastly, I scooped up a mascara in black that has proved to be the perfect consistency for daily use. Not too thick nor to thin and not too seductive for day light if you know what I mean...

As you can tell I’m a big fan of Team Edward Bess. His products are only available at Bergdorf Goodman and remember when you go to visit, tell him Dana sent you!

XOXO,

Dana
